State Route 582 - Boulder Highway

Nevada State Route 582 overlays 7.60 miles of Boulder Highway, from SR 159 (Charleston Boulevard) in Las Vegas southeast to Broadbent Boulevard in the city of Henderson. Prior to 2023, SR 582 followed all of Boulevard Highway southeast 15.39 miles to I-11/U.S. 93-95 at the Wagonwheel Interchange (Exit 56). Some of the ramps at that exchange remain inventoried as SR 582, though as of 2025 the total mileage is just 0.163.
Before that, SR 582 continued northwest along Fremont Street to the intersection with Eight Street in Downtown Las Vegas. The section of Fremont Street through the Fremont East District, between Eighth Street and Las Vegas Boulevard, is maintained by the city of Las Vegas.
Historically Boulder Highway was the alignment of U.S. 93, U.S. 95 and U.S. 466. With construction of Interstate 515 (Oran K. Gragson Freeway), U.S. 93 and U.S. 95 shifted onto the parallel freeway, with Boulder Highway redesignated as U.S. 93 Business and U.S. 95 Business. The bannered routes were subsequently dropped, leaving the arterial solely as SR 582.

SR 582 previously began along Fremont Street southeast of 8th Street. The route was truncated north of SR 159 (Charleston Boulevard) by 2022.
