As soon as I can find a photo of a KY 713 sign (I have a few) then I'm overriding this one too.

Yes. Specifically, because of the "viatologist" who owns the site, and stirred up controversy on the misc.transport.road Usenet newsgroup where I used to hang out before moving to this forum..

IMHO, no. Whatever we think of some of the "viatologist's" other "contributions" to the hobby, just using with credit his sign photos seems pretty harmless. And as we press on toward 999, we often won't be in a position to be that picky.

I'm still following this topic, but I'm a few dozen numbers from again tapping my own skimpy collection (not nearly as good as Jim's), and will let others take care of scouring the web to fill gaps and keep the game moving.

Yes.

I really don't see the point of overriding it just because of the website in the bottom left. It's there because it's the website's way of showing it's theirs. It's not there in real life, and I didn't go on GSV for it.

Move up, spread out, go forth and forward; it's okay to look at the rearview mirror now and then, but you can't live in the past: I figured that was the point of AARoads. No room in the trunk for past regrets.

I disagree with an override simply because someone doesn't like a site's views. An exception would be if the site had malicious content or against the thread/site rules.
