State Route 128

California State Route 128

California 128 begins at its junction with California 1 near Albion, follows the Navarro River inland southeast toward Philo and Boonville through Anderson Valley, and joins southbound U.S. 101 at Cloverdale. U.S. 101 and California 128 share a freeway alignment from Cloverdale south to Geyserville, with California 128 departing the freeway at the junction with Sonoma County C-1. From there, California 128 continues southeast to meet California 29 at Calistoga. From Calistoga, California 29 and 128 together serve the northern half of Napa Valley, and California 128 heads east on its own at Rutherford, south of St. Helena. Skirting the south shore of Lake Berryessa, California 128 ends at its junction with Interstate 505 in Winters. Legislatively, California 128 is planned to be extended from Interstate 505 in Winters east to a point along Interstate 80 between Davis and West Sacramento in Yolo County.

Business Route

California 128 Business in Cloverdale begins at the intersection of California 128 and Cloverdale Boulevard north of downtown Cloverdale. The business route, entirely concurrent with and signed alongside U.S. 101 Business, follows Cloverdale Boulevard southeast through downtown Cloverdale, rejoining with California 128 and U.S. 101 at Exit 519 south of town. The business route was established in April 1994 when the Cloverdale bypass was completed. Prior to that, the business route was the mainline of both U.S. 101 and California 128.
