Just beyond the separation from I-75 south, I-275 passes under County Line Road and enters Hillsborough County.

A mostly unmarked route, CR 582A extends east from U.S. 41 (Nebraska Avenue) to the University of South Florida (USF) and Temple Terrace. Fletcher Avenue west continues as an unnumbered arterial toward Carrollwood.
