The most recent streetview from the area even shows a car stopped between the dividing lanes directly in front of the end treatment for what is normally the median barrier.

Not an ideal setup at all, but since the median barrier can't be removed I'm not sure what else can be done short of trying to extend the lane divide and maybe make it more gradual with barrels/flexposts leading up to the median barrier. I wonder if some of the confusion stems from drivers errantly thinking it's the split for I-295? The lane split+shift does start immediately after one of the 95/295/495 overheads.

I've only driven thru there once during the current setup, but immediately thought to myself "that's an accident waiting to happen" (and sounds like it has been).
"Now, what if da Bearss were to enter the Indianapolis 5-hunnert?"
"How would they compete?"
"Let's say they rode together in a big buss."
"Is Ditka driving?"
"Of course!"
"Then I like da Bear buss."

The fun one (and where traffic is much more freely flowing to warrant speed cameras IMO) is the current pattern before the 95/495 split.  You now have to decide which road you want before the bridges there because the middle of the road is now blocked off.

It might've been worthwhile to put up a larger roadway-spanning sign on one of the overhead gantries explaining that the lanes all merge back together, but realistically I don't know how much more they could do to idiot-proof this short of combining these splits with the actual exit splits further downstream (never mind the apocalyptic congestion that'd cause during certain stages of the project). There's already a bunch of signage leading up to the splits explaining that thru lanes divide briefly that these people are clearly ignoring. If your first thought when encountering a gore point for an exit that you've missed is to stop dead in the middle of the interstate or to try and drive across it ignoring any solid objects that may be in your way, that's kinda your own fault.
At least it's temporary.

Is DE 30 in Millsboro also realigned with DE 24 on the new super two bypass of that town?

GSV hasn't yet captured the new road and was wondering if they done both routes.

No, DE 30's alignment did not change.  It just now ends at DE 24 BUS (DE 24's old alignment) south of DE 24's new alignment.

You mean it dont reach US 13 anymore between Delmar and Laurel at a rural intersection  there?

Well my Rand McNally still shows it going through Ward to US 13.  It's a 2021 edition so only four years.  Still much in DE hasn't changed over that time period.

That means the independent section of Route 30 between Routes 24 and 26 is like Bay Road in Dover after truncation of US 113 or Middletown- Warwick Road in Middletown after US 301 shifted on to the toll road all without replacement numbers.

AA Roads claims less than a mile between the former overlaps of DE 24 and DE 26 with no Road name so typical Road number instead.

Being Delaware is gung ho on truncation to avoid overlaps hence Route 30 and US 113, why not truncate DE 18 and eliminate its overlap with extended Route 404?

Rhetorical question, but it is interesting.  I know MSR 404 was extended to Five Points to simply driving from the Bay Bridge to the Beaches which gave the overlap in the first place ( as well as with US 9 also), but does Route 18 need to go to Georgetown anymore?

Just finished adding the last of the photos I took from my visit home over the holidays, all of which are cataloged on the AARoads Updates Page. Among some of the things I checked out:

The new flyovers at I-95/SR 896 in Newark:

The lane addition for I-295 north on I-95 north near Newport:

Overkill coverage of the North Millsboro Bypass:

The partially completed interchange joining SR 1 with SR 16 near Milton:

I also checked out the East Camden Bypass Project on SR 10. The southeastern part of the loop between U.S. 13 at South Street and the new roundabout was open to traffic when I drove it and signed already as SR 10.

SR 10 east on the Willow Grove Road extension:

SR 10 west on Lebanon Road leading into the new roundabout with Willow Grove Road:

Signage for SR 10 was already added on U.S. 13 south at the new alignment (Willow Grove Road extension), even referencing the non-existent West Camden Bypass:

So they've gone from km-based to mile-based counting down from the last km-based number back to km-based.  What a mess.  They really should pick which system they want to use.  I vote mile-based, as many of the benefits of distance-based exit numbers aren't there if the exit numbers are by KM but all other signage is in miles.

Or they could pull an Arizona and replace the distance markers with KM posts and post all distances in KM.  That would work too.  But I don't see them doing that.
