Went to Orlando over the weekend and realized that we never updated the page for Florida State Road 435 (Kirkman Road) south. The arterial joins I-4 with Universal Orlando, and the interchange joining the freeway with SR 435 was rebuilt as part of the I-4 Ultimate project. Although still not completed, the ramps have already been realigned and left exits from I-4 to SR 435 removed.
Posted complete coverage of SR 435 south with photos taken on June 5, 2019. Also updated both directions of SR 535 between Lake Buena Vista and U.S. 192 near Kissimme and SR 536 westbound leading toward Walt Disney World with photos from the same day.

Following over three years of construction, work at the north end of Florida’s Turnpike, where the toll road merges with I-75, was completed by January of this year. The project added a new distributor roadway system connecting both I-75 and the Turnpike with SR 44 at Wildwood and from SR 44 to both the Turnpike and I-75. The change eliminated a weaving traffic pattern between the closely spaced interchanges on Interstate 75.
Posted ten photos showing the new configuration of Florida’s Turnpike northbound from 01/20/20. Also updated photos for the Turnpike split from I-75 southbound and the initial stretch of the toll road south to U.S. 301.
I used to love taking my family trips from Ocala to Orlando, who knew they had so many tolls?
