The city of Wilmington generally uses the same traffic light color scheme as the rest of Delaware, with yellow signal housing and black visors. There is some variation, with all black traffic lights, and signals using tunnel visors instead of cutaways. Historically a wider mixture of signal brands were used throughout the city. Many 30 inch signals were used as well, including those mounted to pedestals.
