The Guide to Delaware State Route 300

Delaware 300 continues the Maryland 300 numbering convention into the First State by way of Sudlersville Road in western Kent County. From the state line east of Sudlersville, Maryland, Delaware 300 travels through Everetts Corner, Whigville, Kenton, Clayton, and Smyrna. A short overlap exists along Wheatleys Pond Road with Delaware 15 northeast of Kenton and a 1.1 mile cosigning with Delaware 6 (Glenwood Avenue) brings the state highway to a close at junction U.S. 13 (Dupont Boulevard) in the town of Smyrna. Delaware 300 joined the state highway system by 1938.

Western terminus
Delaware 300 transitions into Maryland 300 0.3 miles west of Delaware 44 and Everetts Corner. From the state line Sudlersville Road carries Maryland 300 6.2 miles west to junction Maryland 313 (Church Street) at Sudlersville, Maryland. Eastern Terminus
Delaware 6 & 300 overlap on Glenwood Avenue in the town of Smyrna (pop. 5,679). Their overlap comes to an end at U.S. 13 (Dupont Boulevard) where Delaware 300 ends. Delaware 6 however continues southward onto U.S. 13 three blocks to Commerce Street. Photo taken by Adam Froehlig 02/18/02.
U.S. 13 (Dupont Boulevard) southbound in Smyrna at the eastern terminus of Delaware 300 and merge with Delaware 6 (Glenwood Avenue). Delaware 6 & 300 enter the junction by way of Glenwood Avenue from the southwest. The two highways share 1.1 miles of pavement between Dupont Boulevard and Smyrna Clayton Boulevard.
