
Delaware 300 continues the Maryland 300 numbering convention into the First State by way of Sudlersville Road in western Kent County. From the state line east of Sudlersville, Maryland, Delaware 300 travels through Everetts Corner, Whigville, Kenton, Clayton, and Smyrna. A short overlap exists along Wheatleys Pond Road with Delaware 15 northeast of Kenton and a 1.1 mile cosigning with Delaware 6 (Glenwood Avenue) brings the state highway to a close at junction U.S. 13 (Dupont Boulevard) in the town of Smyrna. Delaware 300 joined the state highway system by 1938.
