Alabama 182
Alabama 182 stretches 17 miles along the Gulf of Mexico coast line through Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. The state highway begins at Pine Beach as a two lane road and travels east to become a five-lane commercial arterial at junction Alabama 59 (Gulf Shores Parkway). Numerous condominium high rises line the busy road through Gulf State Park, a natural area separating Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Orange Beach continues the dense development of beach homes and condos through to the state line on Perdido Key.
