Originally signed as U.S. 331, U.S. 29 in Florida begins in Pensacola and leads north to Ensley, Gonzalez, Cantonment, the Molino area, Century and the Alabama state line at Flomaton, all within Escambia County. The highway carries at least four lanes throughout its Sunshine State routing and a 65 mile per hour speed limit in rural areas.
