Memorial Highway branches northwest from the Veterans Expressway frontage roads to Town 'N' Country. The 2.65 mile long stretch between SR 589 and SR 580 (Hillsborough Avenue) doubles as County Road 576. West from CR 589 (Sheldon Road), Memorial Highway continues as a local two road with two lanes to Countryway.
Dana Shores Drive follows an original section of Memorial Highway south and east from CR 576. The road encircles Rocky Point Golf Course to Skyway Park at George Road. Memorial Highway was paved over with the Veterans Expressway east of there. Beyond the freeway, another section of the original Memorial Highway was abandoned due to expansion of Tampa International Airport (TPA).
A branch of CR 576 in Pinellas County lies west across Old Tampa Bay between Safety Harbor and north Clearwater. A third section of CR 576 runs through southern Hernando County, well to the north of Tampa Bay.
