Georgia State Route 141 follows Peachtree Industrial Boulevard, a limited access expressway leading 4.31 miles northeast from Peachtree Road at I-285 at Doraville to Peachtree Parkway at Norcross. Overall SR 141 travels 34.06 miles from U.S. 19/SR 9 (Roswell Road) at Buckhead in Atlanta to SR 20 (Canton Highway) in Forsyth County, east of Ducktown.
Within Atlanta SR 141 (Peachtree Road) weaves through the business district of Buckhead, connecting with SR 237 (Piedmont Road) and SR 400. Continuing northeast into DeKalb County, SR 141 constitutes a commercial boulevard through the cities of Brookhaven and Chamblee to I-285 at Doraville.

Shifting north from Norcoss, SR 141 (Peachtree Parkway) heads through the city of Peachtree Corners to overtake Medlock Bridge Road over the Chattahoochee River. Reentering Fulton County, the suburban arterial passes through the city of Johns Creek. Crossing the Forsyth County line, SR 141 remains commercialized and again is named Peachtree Parkway. Peachtree Parkway extends SR 141 north to the freeway along SR 400 west of Cumming. Following Belleview Road, SR 141 transitions through residential areas northward onto Bethelehem Road west of Sawnee Mountain.
