Interstate 64 U.S. 40 West U.S. 61 North
A folded diamond interchange (Exit 27) joins I-64/U.S. 40-61 with Spoede Road. Spoede Road stems north from parallel Clayton Road as a residential through road leading to Ladue Road (former Highway AB) and Missouri 340 (Olive Road) in east Creve Coeur. 04/13/13
U.S. 40/61 combine with I-64 west to Interstate 70 at Wentzville. This is the initial segment of the Avenue of the Saints corridor leading north to the Twin Cities in Minnesota. 04/13/13
Interstate 270, the St. Louis beltway, crosses paths with I-64/U.S. 40-61 in one mile. A turbine interchange (Exit 26) joins the two routes. It replaced a cloverleaf interchange during construction between 1988 and 1993. 04/13/13
A parclo interchange (Exit 26) with Ballas Road precedes Interstate 270 in eastern reaches of Town and Country. Ballas Road was formerly a part of Highway JJ, a 2.50 mile route from I-64 south to Missouri 100 in Des Peres. The portion within Town and Country was decommissioned, leading to the greenout on Exit 26 overheads. 04/13/13
Ballas Road transitions into New Ballas Road north from I-64/U.S. 40-61 through the city of Creve Coeur. The road ends at Missouri 340 (Olive Boulevard), just east of the SPUI with Interstate 270.
All traffic to Interstate 270 leaves the westbound freeway in one half mile. 04/13/13
A double lane drop occurs on I-64-U.S. 40/61 west at Exit 25 for Interstate 270. I-270 is signed as the bypass route for I-55 south to Memphis and I-55 north to Chicago, Illinois. 04/13/13
I-270 consists of a commuter route north to Maryland Heights and Bridgeton and south to Kirkwood and Sunset Hills as part of its 50.6 mile route between Mehlville and Troy, Illinois. 04/13/13
A flyover carries motorists onto Interstate 270 south to Des Peres. The freeway ends in 12 miles at Interstate 55, where I-255 takes over east to the Jefferson Barracks Bridge. 04/13/13
Northward I-270 travels through Creve Coeur eight miles to Bridgeton and I-70. The portion of I-270 between Interstates 55 and 70 was designated as Interstate 244 until 1974. 04/13/13
