A four-year project costing $28.7 million, work rebuilt the previous half diamond interchange with Granite Street into the state's third single point urban interchange. A nearly 2,000 foot sound wall was added to the west side of Interstate 293 leading south from Exit 4 to the Manchester city line during 2014. 10/06/14
Interstate 293 south parts ways with the F.E. Everett Turnpike next at a directional cloverleaf interchange within the town of Bedford. The unnumbered interchange was resigned in 2011 when the new expressway opened from the Turnpike to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT).
Planned for 20 years and named Raymond Wieczorek Drive, the 1.75 mile route cost $175 million and included a trumpet interchange with the Everett Turnpike at Bedford Toll Plaza.3 The turnpike is now untolled from I-293/NH 101 south to the airport connector (Exit 13). 07/30/07, 10/06/14
