The southern branch of Pasco County Road 595 comprises a local route east of U.S. 19 between Holiday and the city of New Port Richey. The route heads one mile east along Mile Stretch Drive to Grand Boulevard. Paralleling U.S. 19 on Grand Boulevard north, CR 595 continues to Elfers and into New Port Richey beyond CR 518 (Trouble Creek Road). Shifting a quarter mile eastward, CR 595 crosses the Pithlachascotee River north into the New Port Richey residential street grid.

Once at Downtown New Port Richey, CR 595 follows an unsigned route from Main Street north along Grand Boulevard to Circle Boulevard, and around Orange Lake to Sims Lane. Sims Lane returns CR 595 to Grand Boulevard north along the Pithlachascotee River. Grand Boulevard previously angled northwest along a linear route to the west of Orange Lake. Construction in 2011 removed CR 595 along this stretch for a subsequent expansion of Sims Park.

The northernmost section of the 7.18 mile long route meets the west end of CR 587 (Massachusetts Avenue) at Cotee River Park. CR 518 is unmarked beyond CR 587 on Grand Boulevard to U.S. 19 in the city of Port Richey.
