Interstate 95 South
Interstate 95 turns south at Teaneck township and the westbound beginning of I-80. Two roadways lead away from the three-wye interchange with I-80: the inner roadway carries the I-95 mainline toward the New Jersey Turnpike while the outer roadway originates from I-80 east and serves Exit 68 with U.S. 46 in the village of Ridgefield Park. 08/29/05
Exit 68 departs the outer roadway of I-95, one half mile south of I-80 for U.S. 46 and Emerson Street in Ridgefield Park. 08/29/05
A slip ramp joins the two roadways for motorists headed to U.S. 46. 08/29/05
Interstate 95 transitions into the New Jersey Turnpike beyond the interchange complex with U.S. 46. 08/29/05
U.S. 46 is an intrastate route stretching 75 miles west from the George Washington Bridge to Columbia along the Delaware River. Locally the highway joins Ridgefield Park with Ridgefield borough to the east and Little Ferry borough to the west. 08/29/05
All traffic for U.S. 46 leaves I-95 south in unison at Exit 68. The exit partitions first with the Emerson Street ramp to parallel Teaneck Road (CR 39). 08/29/05

The first NJ Turnpike service plaza lies two miles ahead at the split of Interstate 95 into separate branches. 08/29/05
The forthcoming separation of Interstate 95 sees unsigned Interstate 95W loop 11.03 miles to westward through East Rutherford while the mainline stays east through Secaucus. Traffic destined for the Lincoln Tunnel into Manhattan should follow I-95 while those bound for Route 3 and the Meadowlands are directed onto the west Turnpike alignment. 08/29/05
Both roadways of Interstate 95 see access to the NJ Turnpike west branch to East Rutherford and the Meadowlands sports complex. Exit 16W provides access to the Route 3 freeway west to Clifton. 08/29/05
A single lane ramp joins I-95W from the outer roadway of I-95 south at the upcoming wye interchange (Exit 16W) above Overpeck River. 08/29/05
A two lane ramp from the inner roadway combines with the outer roadway along the Interstate 95 mainline as it veers southeast toward Secaucus and Exit 17 with Route 495. The single lane ramp of Exit 16W joins two lanes from the inner roadway, with I-95W carrying four overall to East Rutherford. 08/29/05
