State Route 372 constitutes a 7.77 mile long link between California State Route 178 and SR 160 across the Pahrump Valley.  SR 178 winds northeast from Shoshone through the Chicago and Stewart Valleys to reach the state line. Charles Brown Highway extends east along SR 372 through the Pahrump street grid to the commercial center of Pahrump at SR 160 and Crawford Way.

The first confirming marker for SR 372 stands just beyond the California state line. Along the eastern horizon is Mt. Charleston, which is the closest skiing to the Las Vegas metropolitan area. 01/21/02
