U.S. 69 travels 350 miles (338.64 miles per the Texas Highway Designation Files) between Port Arthur and Oklahoma state line (Red River) north of Denison. The US Highway connects the cities of Sherman, Tyler, Lufkin and Beaumont. A long overlap joins US 69 with US 287 south from Woodville to Lumberton, where US 96 joins the pair southward to a joint terminus at SH 87 in Port Arthur.
