
Interstate 91 travels northward from Interstate 95 at New Haven to Springfield, Massachusetts along a 58 mile long course through the Constitution State. The freeway comprises at least six lanes overall throughout the state as it passes through Hampden, Meriden, Hartford and Windsor Locks. I-91 provides the main route between New Haven and the capital city.
