U.S. 20 quickly expands to four lanes leading into the intersection with Locust Street (unsigned Iowa 946). Iowa 946 connects the Julien Dubuque Bridge west end with Downtown Dubuque, U.S. 61/151 north to Dickeyville, Wisconsin, and U.S. 61-151 south to Dubuque Regional Airport (DBQ), the Quad Cities and Cedar Rapids. 05/30/11
A sign bridge supports all traffic lights between U.S. 20 (Dodge Street) and Iowa 946 (Locust Street). Locust Street is the pre-freeway alignment of U.S. 52-61-151 northward into the Downtown District. 05/30/11
