Northbound Nevada 265/Nivloc Road ends at this stop sign with U.S. 6 and U.S. 95 at Blair Junction. A set of trailblazer shields for U.S. 6 and U.S. 95 is posted near the stop sign, along with the zero milepost. The reference markers increase in mileage from Blair Junction south to Silver Peak. Nevada 265 south
Leaving Blair Junction and the intersection with U.S. 6 west and U.S. 95 north, southbound Nevada 265/Nivloc Road proceeds south toward Blair, Silver Peak, and Clayton Valley. Nevada 265 travels south to Silver Peak, an unincorporated town with a history steeped in silver and gold mining in the 19th century and today is adjacent to a lithium extraction facility in nearby Clayton Valley. Nevada 265 is not a through state route; it ends upon reaching Silver Peak. Photo taken 11/11/08.
