A rural highway in Hernando County, CR 576 leads 10.17 miles east from U.S. 41 near Masarkytown to CR 541 (Spring Lake Highway) near Hickory Hill. CR 576 follows Ayers Road east to CR 581 (Culbreath Road) and Hayman Road from there to CR 541.
A 2.9 mile long extension of Ayers Road lengthened CR 576 southwest around Masarkytown to CR 578 (County Line Road) at the diamond interchange with SR 589 (Suncoast Parkway). Costing $20.2 million, construction of the four lane arterial commenced in September 2019 and continues to Summer 2022. The four lane arterial opened west from U.S. 41 to a signalized intersection with Trillium Boulevard on March 9, 2021. The remainder south to CR 578 followed on September 21, 2021.
Two other sections of County Road 576 are assigned to the south in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties.
