Home » Guides » » U.S. 20

Generally paralleling U.S. 6 to the north in Ohio, U.S. 20 stretches 260 miles across the state from Columbia to Conneaut along Lake Erie. U.S. 20 runs north of the Ohio Turnpike to Toledo, and south of the toll road from Maumee and Perrysburg to Fremont and Norwalk. Through the Cleveland area, U.S. 20 crosses I-80 at North Ridgeville, angling northeast to I-90 at Rocky River.

U.S. 20/6 overlap along Clifton Boulevard through Lakewood into Cleveland at Edgewater. The two routes eventually join SR 2 along the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway and then U.S. 42 across the Cuyahoga River into Downtown. U.S. 6/20 split at Public Square and rejoin in East Cleveland. U.S. 20 continues northeast through an array of cities along Lake Erie to Painesville.
