CR 4009 continues along Williamson Boulevard 5.75 miles from International Speedway Boulevard by an array of business parks, retail development and apartment complexes to SR 40 (W Granada Boulevard) in Ormond Beach.
Supporting suburban development, an unnumbered extension of Williamson Boulevard runs 4.8 miles south to Pioneer Trail (CR 4118) along the Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach city line.

Williamson Boulevard meets SR 421/CR 421 (Taylor Road) at a busy intersection just west of Interstate 95. AdventHealth Port Orange ER was constructed on the previously undeveloped area between Williamson Boulevard and I-95 in 2021.
