Took advantage of the lighter traffic these days and drove 1,200 miles over the course of three days to South Florida and Miami. Several major upgrades have been completed in the region and more are currently underway. Went to Orlando over the weekend and realized that we never updated the page for Florida State Road 435 (Kirkman Road) south. The arterial joins I-4 with Universal Orlando, and the interchange joining the freeway with SR 435 was rebuilt as part of the I-4 Ultimate project. Finished adding all of our backlogged photos for Charlotte and Lee Counties in Southwest Florida by the start of Thanksgiving weekend. Drove 618 miles across Florida yesterday, covering ground from Orlando north to Daytona Beach and Jacksonville. Looked at progress on the I-4 Ultimate megaproject, which extends northward from SR 435 (Kirkman Road) by Universal Orlando to SR 434 near Longwood.
